Siding & Trim
ZLC, Inc specializes and has installation certifications in all varieties and brands of siding and trim. The types or varieties include Cedar, Cement Fiber, Composite and vinyl among a couple other PVC products. The brands we most commonly install besides cedar would be James Hardie and LP® SmartSide® for composite and the vinyl we generally use is Mastic, CertainTeed or Royal. ZLC Inc. was the first platinum level LP® SmartSide® contractor in the US and we continue to install SmartSide® products on a regular basis. ZLC’s relationship with James Hardie is considered an Associate partnership and we have been installing Hardie products since were introduced to the Chicago and Midwest area almost 20 years ago. There are no more qualified and trained exterior experts in the area than the ZLC team. We are truly the experts.
Soffit & Fascia
The products used on the overhangs can vary from the most expensive clear cedar with bead board or tongue and groove soffit to the more reasonable aluminum soffit and fascia trim. We provide options per spec from an architect or make recommendations suited to your design. Other overhang products which are excellent are provided by Hardie an LP SmartSide and provide excellent products to complete the exterior package and match the siding. We will work with the builder, architect, HOA or homeowner to find the best product for your project or development.
Custom Trim Accents
Most projects we work on will have custom accents like shutters, brackets, columns, flower boxes, louvers and more. We will build or provide almost anything an architect or designer can come up with. We will build custom cedar shutters or for a more economical alternative provide vinyl options. Flower boxes and brackets can be custom built or there are many pre-formed alternatives. We will work to find the best alternatives for each project.
Gutters & Downspouts
ZLC, Inc. installs every type of gutter and downspout including copper, metal and aluminum in standard K-style or half round. The sizes of the gutters and downspouts vary and we will design the proper system to adequately drain the roof space properly and meet your design desires as well.
Windows & Doors
ZLC works well with our suppliers and manufacturers and can provide most brands and types of windows and doors. Vinyl replacement windows, wood and composite windows are available. Some brands we regularly install include Pella, Marvin, Simonton and others.
Roofing
We provide installation of roofing consisting of mostly asphalt shingles but metal roof accents and full wood shake jobs as well. New or re-roof work in most areas of the Chicago suburbs. Please inquire
Decks, Trellis’s & Open Air Rooms
We have designed constructed and built many beautiful and awesome decks and open air, roofed rooms using composite, cedar and treated wood. We utilize Trex, TimberTech, AZEK and other composite deck and rail products to provide the design package you are looking for. See our gallery to view some the projects we have completed.
